Sophie, a friend, mamma, and talented florist was pregnant for her second child. I feel it is always important to capture the moment of mommy and her baby before they are even born, it is such a special time! I reached out to her about 3 weeks before her due date to do a personal styled shoot for me! Only problem... we only had a few days to make it happen. Well, really one day with both of our busy schedules.

We planned an afternoon at the River Ranch Oak tree in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was raining, no sun in sight and it was so cold! Sophie was a trooper and so was her son Ollie. I got 85 keeper images in a matter of 23 minutes. That's a record for me guys! Between the misty cold rain and no shoes, if you didn't know, you'd swear it was the perfect day! 

Thankful to Sophie, Mia and the team at Root Floral Design for the beautiful flower crowns for my sessions. I thought they were the perfect accessory to this sweet maternity session. Sophie has since had her sweet baby girl, Lucille. I am so happy for her family <3
